Call for Abstracts

We are pleased to announce the opening of the Call for Abstracts for the 3rd KOICA-UPLB-IRRI International Conference, with the theme "Application of Genomics and Bioinformatics to Agriculture, Aquaculture, and Natural Resources." 

We invite researchers, faculty, students, and practitioners to submit abstracts that align with the conference theme. Submissions should present original research and innovative technologies that demonstrate the application of genomics and bioinformatics to advance agriculture, aquaculture, and natural resource management. 

Join us in advancing the frontiers of science and technology for sustainable development. We look forward to your valuable contributions and to welcoming you to the 3rd KOICA-UPLB-IRRI International Conference. 

1. Abstracts are limited to 300 words only with an additional 3-5 keywords.

2. All submissions must follow the recommended template and it must be submitted electronically through the link provided.

3. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Paper Committee within two (2) weeks after the submission deadline. 

4. Authors with accepted abstracts will be notified through email. Accepted abstracts will be displayed in the online and on-site Poster Gallery.

5. Submission of the high-definition e-copy (PNG file) of the posters should be sent via the google form link with subject
   "Poster Code_Surname" on or before August 9, 2024.

1. Poster presenters must register online on or before July 31, 2024.  Failure to register on time will forfeit your slot as a poster presenter. We will implement one (1) presenting author per one (1) poster only.

2. The Scientific Posters Committee will take care of the poster printing. Please ensure that your poster is exported in high resolution (300 DPI or more) to maintain the quality and readability of your content. The electronic copy of the posters in PNG format must be submitted at sciposter.koicauplbirri@gmail.com on or before August 2, 2024.

3. The presenters should stand beside their posters during the poster viewing session to entertain questions from the audience.
